55 EPWC members and some guests gathered at the beautiful Rogue Valley Country Club to enjoy the annual December luncheon. The ballroom was decorated for the season and each dining table had a wreath centerpiece handcrafted by members and arranged by Annette Godfrey. Friends, activity groups and individuals gathered in front of the Christmas tree for a special holiday photo memory. Even the Board got together for a group photo. Many thanks were expressed for all of the work done on the EPWC holiday party and also for all involved in the Secret Santa project. An "old time" radio-style performance of "The Gift of the Magi" was presented by three members of the Collaborative Theater Project of Medford and was a touching story to reflect on. December birthdays were celebrated including the 95th one for member, Maggie Webster, who was in attendance. The buffet lunch was delicious as always and was followed by a heavenly flourless chocolate cake with candy cane crumbles on top. All of the wreath centerpieces went home with lucky members through a drawing. A wonderful part of the holiday season. Thanks to all who worked on it and attended.
