Nancy Erickson and Ruth Jenks co-hosted the March Culinary Arts gathering at Nancy's home for a total of 11 members. The theme of the lunch was "Family Favorite Recipes" which included foods recalled from our childhood homes or from our homes as young mothers. The menu was eclectic and ranged from eggplant caponata on crostini to pineapple upside down cake. Each guest shared the story of their recipe and other food memories from childhood. We all enjoyed the food and the reminiscing. Thank you to Nancy for hosting and to Ruth for-co-hosting. See you in May for an English Tea Party.
