10 EPWC members gathered at the home of Brigitte Lemmerman for a great luncheon featuring recipes from chef, Jenn Segal, author of several “Once Upon A Chef” cookbooks. Jenn strives to produce recipes which are easy to prepare, but elevated from routine cooking. Kris Howard served as co-host with Brigitte. Two appetizers began the meal followed by several entrees paired with salads or side dishes and everything was topped off with two wonderful desserts. A few featured recipes were shaved brussels sprout salad, dijon roasted pork tenderloin, grilled pesto shrimp and fresh berry terrine. The hosts provided delicious beverages including fresh strawberry lemonade. Plates were empty at the end and everyone was wonderfully full. Thanks to Brigitte and Kris and to all the guest cooks. Our next gathering will be in July and will feature “small plates”.
