10 EPWC members gathered at the home of Dianne Mihocko for an amazing lunch featuring the cookbooks of Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa. Ina has produced a number of cookbooks which feature food that she knows and loves. Hosts, Dianne Mihocko and Linda Haynsworth-Krueger selected the recipes for our menu from several of her cookbooks and group coordinator, Viki Brown, assigned and shared the recipes with those attending. From ricotta butternut squash bruschetta to mocha chocolate ice box cake, every dish was a taste delight. As we sampled each food offering , the home chef who prepared it described the ingredients in it and preparation details. There were even a few funny stories of whipped cream on the ceiling and other mishaps. We welcomed a new member , Vicki Wittenbrock, this month and look forward to seeing her back with us again.
