54 EPWC members and guests gathered in the beautiful ballroom at Rogue Valley Country Club to enjoy a festive holiday luncheon and program. The Broadway Boomers, a dance troupe of older adults, had the whole audience tapping their feet and humming along with the great showtune music. The dancers performed 5 routines choreographed to a variety of songs from musical plays and movies augumented with fun props to compliment the music. "All That Jazz" and "We Need a Little Christmas" were favorites and some willing members of the audience joined the dancers for an impromptu lesson on the dance moves. The centerpiece committee wowed everyone with their beautiful lighted, holiday centerpieces and the silent auction bidding to take one of them home was heated. Susan Watson, our luncheon program coordinator, joined us on her 75th birthday, and was serenaded with a warm Happy Birthday sing along, while sporting a "Birthday Girl" sash and birthday candle tiara. Plenty of food for all and some nice photo opportunities to save special memories of time spent with friends. A big thanks to Susan for arranging the program, to the centerpiece committee for creating the beautiful table decorations and to all the members who participated. Happy Holidays to all!
