We started the new year off with a theme of black and gold and that brought out lots of jewelry, sparkly tops and shimmering scarves to brighten up a cold, gray day. Sandi Smith was host for this month and unfortunately she had a bad cold so could not attend. She did provide all of the plates, napkins, tables and tablecloths and stopped in to make sure that everything got set up properly. A big thanks to Sandi and her husband, Mike. As usual there was lots of great finger food and a nice assortment of wine to enjoy. The group was a little smaller this month (20 people) due to numerous people being ill with colds and coughs, but there was lots of laughter and good conversation.
