Seven EPWC members and one guest, Beth Woodard, tackled the Ponderosa Trail in Prescott Park in Medford following it to the summit of Roxy Ann Peak. We had another warm, blue-sky day for this first outing of the hiking group for 2026. Hike leader, Lori Miles, had hiked the trail the prior week so she was able to guide us to the trailhead and then up and down the trail. A big thanks to Lori for her efforts. Athough this trails climbs very steadily uphill, we were all excited by the views that change and grew more expansive with every switchback we rounded. We all enjoyed a nice lunch break at a picnic table perched in an open area on top with views of Mt. McLoughlin and all of the surrounding countryside. We send a warm welcome to EPWC’s newest member, Beth Woodard, who joined the Club after the hike was completed. See you in April for another great hike.
