Viki Brown and Trish Strepy co-hosted the June hike with a small, but enthusiastic group. With the hike coinciding with a holiday weekend, many of our members were out of town. The four of us braved a rather rugged access road to the trailhead, but were rewarded with expansive views over the Applegate Valley on the East Applegate Ridge Trail. We all enjoyed the fresh air, good company and exercise. We look forward to more fun hikes over the summer.
