Every month our group visits Lava Lanes for two great games of bowling and our scores vary, but we always have a good time. Some extra energy from the big 4th of July celebration followed us to the bowling alley this month as each bowler scored at least one strike in each game. Scores were higher than usual with Lori Miles racking up a 177 point game and Viki Brown had a 140. A number of others had games over 100 and the high fives just kept coming. For anyone interested in joining us for bowling, we meet at Lava Lanes in Medford at 1 pm on the first Monday of the month. The summer rate for bowling is $2/game plus a small fee for shoes. You don’t need to be an experienced bowler to join in the fun. Thanks to Lori Miles for keeping us organized and to all of the bowlers who always come ready for fun.
