In October of 2026, the bowling group moved their meeting time from the first Monday of the month to the 3rd Tuesday at 11:00 am at Lava Lanes in Medford. Part of the decision to change was to take advantage of a price special of 4 games for $8 avaiable during the Tuesday hours (regular price is $6.50/game). We were all eagerly waiting for the doors to open at 11 am and got checked in and were on our way. There were some good scores and Lori Miles even got a turkey (3 strikes in a row) in her third game. During the course of our second game a group of 133 school kids from Grants Pass descended on Lava Lanes, so we moved to different lanes to accomodate the large group. Most of the group bowled all four games and enjoyed getting in more practice. Thanks to Lori Miles for keeping us organized and to everyone who shows up to bowl. We'll be back next month ready for more fun.
