Eight hikers were thrilled with the beauty of wildflowers and magnificent views at the 5542-ft. summit of Hobart Bluff on Friday June 20. A leisurely 3-mile hike on the PCT gave us plenty of time to enjoy and identify the wildflowers. While eating our picnic lunch at the top, we were able to view Mt. Shasta, Mt. McLoughlin, Mt. Thielsen, Pilot Rock, and many areas of the Rogue Valley.
