A group of nearly 90 EPWC members and their guests gathered in a group picnic area at Tou Velle State Park on Sunday, July 10, 2016 for great fun, food and company at the first annual EPWC BBQ. President Annette Godfrey did an outstanding job of planning festive table decorations, quirky name tags, fun games and a wonderful menu to make a perfect afternoon at the park. My Little BBQ did the catering of brisket, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, green beans and southern cole slaw along with lemonade and iced tea. A few sweet treats were added for dessert. Ricahrd Gyuro serenaded the group with beautiful accordion music and there was plenty of shade for relaxing in. A water balloon toss, egg carry, croquet and water glass carry were some of the fun games enjoyed by many and rewarded with thoughtful prizes. The day was a little cool and rain threatened, but it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. Many thanks to Annette for all of her efforts to make this a great event for the Club.
