12 EPWC Culinary Arts members gathered at the home of Kris Howard for the September Culinary Arts Luncheon. It was a beautiful day to dine on Kris's wonderful patio and to enjoy good company and a special lunch. Brigitte Lemmerman served as co=host and she and Kris selected 10 recipes from the "I Love Trsder Joes" cookbook to create a full luncheon menu. Each recipe featured some of the unique items sold at Trader Joes and all were enjoyable. From asparagus and proscuitto involtini to carne asada salad and "Better Than Tiramisu", all the dishes were suited to al fresco dining. Each cook shared some insights on her recipe and special tips on preparation. A big thanks to Kris and Brigitte for hosting us. See you in November for the last Culinary Arts luncheon of the year.
