Our May bowling outing this month happened to occur on May 4 which is Stars Wars Day with the slogan "May the 4th Be With You". Lava Lanes was showing vintage Star Wars movies on the screens bewteen the bowling scoreboards with some occasional Star Wars music. It added some fun to the day. We also celebrated the birthday on one of our bowlers, Trish Strepy, who was rewarded with a handful of strikes. All the scores were a little bit better than usual, so there was more cheering than groans. Lori Miles brought a Chick-fil-A chocolate chip cookie for each of us to celebrate Trish's birthday (see them in the photo). Thanks to Lori for the cookies and for organizing us. Lava Lanes is also having a price special for the summer months of $2/game on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. See you next month on the first Monday at 1 pm.
