Kris Howard has hosted October Sip and Dip for a number of years and every year is more fun than the last. Mature, adult women sure know how to come up with great costumes and Halloween-themed appetizers and just get into the spooky, silly enjoyment of Halloween. Kris's home is decorated to the max complete with a scary goblin tapping on the kitchen window from the outside and a skeleton candy dish that scolds you as you try to sneak a goodie. In addition to the normal eating and wine sipping that goes on at Sip and Dip, Kris organized a costume contest and a candy corn in a jar guessing context. One new member, Sarah Glynn, joined this group for the first time and loved all the craziness. Jeanne Wallace outdid herself as always w ith a skeleton-themed charcuterie tray and toothy cookies. It is hard to capture all of the great energy that was part of this gathering, but it was just SUPER FUN! A huge thanks to Kris for everything and to all the guests who rocked their costumes and appetizers. A hard act to follow.
