Thirteen hikers (three new to the group) reached the summit of Roxy Ann Peak Friday, February 20 and enjoyed awesome views at both the South overlook and North overlook. Madrone and manzanita were plentiful along the trail. Lunch at Thai Bistro was a perfect ending to a beautiful day.

Six of us enjoyed breathtaking scenery, perfect weather, and friendship while hiking four miles along the McCloud River on Friday, May 16. We saw three spectacular waterfalls and had views of Mt. Shasta, Castle Crags, and other local mountains while hiking. After hiking to the Upper Falls, we relaxed while eating our picnic lunch.
Eleven ladies enjoyed sunshine and a variety of wildflowers while hiking 4.6 miles through old-growth forests to the London Peak viewpoint. A highlight of our adventure was a scrumptious lunch at the historic Wolf Creek Inn, viewing antiques and the quaint room where Jack London stayed.
Nine hikers identified wildfllowers and plants while hiking at Upper Table Rock. They also observed a Northern Harrier swoop down while on the mesa and Osprey nest with Ospreys along Modoc Road. The group relaxed while eating a tasty, healthy lunch at Kriselle Cellars.
Happiness is sharing yummy salads and desserts with friends!!!
The Collings Mountain Trail near Applegate Lake is best known for the infamous Bigfoot trap.
