Theater Group Cancels Outing to “You Can’t Take It with You.”
Camelot Theater is closed for a while so we won't be going to "You Can't Take It with You" in May. For now, enjoy the landscape of your mind. And keep smiling brightly at each other on the sidewalks of Eagle Point. A big smile is darn good entertainment.
Theater Group Schedule Changes
OSF has cancelled March performances so our group will miss "Peter and the Starcatcher." Our May 19th trip to Camelot Theatre for "You Can't Take It with You" is pending. Theater Group will Attend “Peter and the Starcatcher” on March 29

“Sherwood, The Adventures of Robin Hood” January 26
The Theater Group is scheduled to attend “Sherwood, The Adventures of Robin Hood” on Sunday, January 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the Collaborative Theatre Group in Medford. The cost is $18. Send your checks to Martha Roy by January 8th. The play is a farce written by Ken Ludwig.
Theater Group attended “Billy Elliot”
September 29th, 27 members of the Theater Group attended a performance of "Billy Elliot" at Camelot Theatre in Talent. "Billy Elliot" is a story of a young boy who chooses ballet over boxing and coal-mining and the family and community who choose, with difficulty, to love him anyway.

“Momma Mia” captivated Theater Group
In July, thirty members of the Theater Group attended the Cabaret Theatre's performance of "Momma Mia." The cast was spot on, the music wonderful and the brunch satisfying. We glowed.
Takelma Gorge Hike in June 2019
Eight women hiked five miles along the Rogue River to Takelma Gorge on June 21, 2019. Spectacular scenery, blue-sky weather, wildflowers and tricky trail-blazing to detour a section of missing trail. Our members took their conservation efforts an extra step and rescued two mosquitos trapped in our car.

Theater Group Attended “Newsies, the Musical”
March 3, twenty ladies attended the Teen Musical Theater of Oregon’s performance of Disney’s “Newsies, the Musical.” Our local teens shone with their professionalism, their voices and their precise and spirited dancing.
Theater Group attended CTP’s “The Glass Menagerie”
On January 20, fifteen members of the Theater Project’s attended the Collaborative Theatre’s performance of Tennessee Williams “The Glass Menagerie.” The cast was superb, the play pulled us in and of course, the company was delightful.
Newsies, the Musical
March 3, the Theater Group will attend the 3 p.m. matinee of Disney's "Newsies, the Musical" at the Craterian Theater in Medford. It will be performed by the Teen Musical Theater of Oregon. Sign up deadline is February 17. Tickets are $24. Contact Martha Roy for information.
The Glass Menagerie

Bandersnatch Trail
On November 16, seven women hiked four miles of the Bandersnatch Trail at the north end of Lithia Park in Ashland. Only half of it was uphill. We rewarded ourselves with lunch at Agave Restaurant.

Twenty-two ladies attended "Blues in the Night" at the Randall Theater, Medford's tiny shining gem. Fine music. Great company.
