Hikers meet at 9:00 or 9:30 a.m. on the 3rd Friday of the month in Feb.through June and August through October at the Harnish Visitors Information Center parking lot to carpool to the selected trailhead. Member-hike leaders host the monthly hikes and hike details are sent out by e-mail. Average hiking distance is 4-6 miles and lunch is usually a sack lunch eaten on the trail. Most hikes are in Jackson County and occasionally in Josephine or Klamath County. This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors with friends and get some good exercise.
