Our Christmas luncheon at the RVCC was superb. We were entertained by the Eagle Point High School choir and jazz ensemble singing Christmas songs. Many members were wearing festive holiday apparel and we were all in the holiday mood. Our dessert was a chocolate mousse with peppermint topping. So much fun! 🙂

Over 60 women enjoyed a French-themed luncheon with table décor to match, had the opportunity to greet the new Club Board and to thank the outgoing Board members. This years Annual Summer Picnic was held on Sunday August 24th 2014 at the Rogue River Lodge. The food and service were great, and the weather could not have been better. We all had a wonderful time.
The 2014 Member Booklets are in. I will bring them to the Luncheon on Wednesday August 20th. Each member receives one booklet with their membership. A Mexican-themed buffet and table decorations made for a festive spring luncheon. A fascinating program on the development of railroads in southern Oregon was presented by local historian Roger Mullaly. A large number of members and guests were in attendance to share in this enjoyable event.

Historian Larry Mullaly will be telling us how Eagle Point almost became a principal city in Southern Oregon because a wealthy stagecoach and shipping magnate, Ben Holladay, had included Eagle Point in his plans for the Oregon and Califonia Railroad.
December 11th, 2013 was our Christmas luncheon at the Rogue Valley Country Club. To entertain us was the delightful Bell Ringers Quintet.
Snow and ice didn’t keep party goers away. Everyone looked very classy and had a fantastic time at the 2nd Annual Classy Christmas Party. Wonderful food provided by the Rogue Regency Inn. Superb dinner music by soloist Shybo. After dinner the band, Ring of Trees got everyone up on the dance floor.
