On Sunday of Labor Day weekend six Eagle Point Women's Club members and three guests attended I HATE HAMLET at the Collaborative Theatre Project. The casting and talent was fantastic. It's magical what a small intimate theater group can produce. We are looking forward to seeing THE MOORES, a dark contemporary, comedy in October.

32 EPWC members convened at the rural home of Viki Brown for an afternoon of fun and friendship on Aug. 27, 2026. It was a beautiful, blue-sky day which we took advantage of by gathering on Viki’s back deck and another outdoor seating area. As always, the food was spectacular and the wine enjoyable, but […]

I must have accidentally hit submit before I could add the rest of the photos. So, here they are. Elaine Slate Piecemakers Historian
The Piecemakers met at Stitched again in July and we voted to keep having our meetings at this location. It is just too convenient for us to get set up easily. Our project this month was making greeting cards. Sue has taught this before but we have so many new members now that we thought […]
On July 20, 2026, ten members of the New Book Buddies crammed around Martha Roy’s dining table to rave about the book and the movie, Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. The characters were so well drawn we forgave the author for her first-novel plot stumbles and for calling 70 year olds decrepit. Forty […]

We had an enjoyable evening of 3-13 at Felker’s. Everyone brought great food. We especially enjoyed the peach cobbler brought by Teresa and Charlie Allen. Unfortunately Allen’s had to leave early as their fire zone went from a 0 to a 2 before the evening ended. Glad to say right now they are back to […]
The EPWC has a long tradition of participation in the amazing 4th of July parade held in downtown Eagle Point each year and many times coming home with a trophy. For many years the parade entry was a large float that was lovingly decorated at the home of Maxine Williams, former EWC president, and driven […]
July book club was at the home of Virginia Felker. We read 'Twice' by Mitch Albom. The group had a great discussion, especially where the novel talked about the idea of do overs in any given situation. We explored the question, if given a second chance, what you would change in your life.
Every month our group visits Lava Lanes for two great games of bowling and our scores vary, but we always have a good time. Some extra energy from the big 4th of July celebration followed us to the bowling alley this month as each bowler scored at least one strike in each game. Scores were […]

With a theme of red, white and blue, 30 Eagle Point Womens Club members really showed up in style. The 4th of July was only a week away and with it being the 250th birthday of our nation, it was fitting to show our traditional American colors. The appetizers carried on the color theme and […]

The February and April luncheons were held in the Talon Grill at the Eagle Point Golf Club and Resort with attendance limited […]
The piecemakers met again at Stitched. The plan was to work on the gift quilt we are making as a group. We had folks to cut, iron, press, mark & sew. We made good progress but will need to work together again to finish it. It is going to be beautiful. We had a lot […]
Viki Brown and Trish Strepy co-hosted the June hike with a small, but enthusiastic group. With the hike coinciding with a holiday weekend, many of our members were out of town. The four of us braved a rather rugged access road to the trailhead, but were rewarded with expansive views over the Applegate Valley on […]
